Merry Christmas!!!

SO we have a verrrry white Christmas!!! I think we are technicaly snowed in! The wind blew really hard last night...just ask Kyler. He was up several times last night saying the rain was scary. There is couple drifts out back that are at least 3-4 foot tall.

So yesterday i got off work at noon. Ice skated to my car and headed home. We payed all afternoon and made Christmas cookies for Santa. Here is a picture of the plate of cookies we left for Santa... oh and some mini marshmallows... for the reindeer!
So this morning Kyler was pretty excited when he seen all the presents....oh and the CANDY!! That is the first thing he went for. Santa had scattered a bunch of little chocolates all over the window seat just as you come down the stairs. We were picking them up and Kyler said better pick up Santa's mess! It was pretty funny. Oh and today we were watching a little weather channel and it said something about celebrating Jesus Christ's birth... Kyler looked at me and said... "Mommy.. they said bad word!" He is all about the tattle telling these days!

He got several bearcat things....He got a bearcat outfit, football, helmet, and a stuffed bobby. He is very interested in Bobby until he is right there... it is very small, like a beany baby size. He was hanging out of his stocking and he would not go near it. He said I don't like Bobby...he scary!

Kyler also got the Elmo Live encore...he is scared of him to!!! This is me trying to get a picture of him and Elmo...fat chance.
I think he got WAY too much!!! Ever time he opened up a present he wanted to take it out and play with it instead of opening more. It took about 1 1/2- 2 hours to get everything open this morning. But he got a lot of stuff he likes to play with. His kitchen was a big hit. He cooked on it all morning. He came in the kitchen this morning when i was cooking with a pan and an egg... he said "mommy, Lilly won't eat eggs!" Other then that he got Elmo, play doh, cars, refrigerator magnets the help sound out the letters, play toaster, new undies, watch, dr kit, helmet, football, big package of play food and dishes, clothes, and... there was more little stuff to...too much to list it all.

I really hope this weather clears up by morning!! I really want to go to St Joe first thing in the morning to pick up some after Christmas stuff. Its not looking to promising as of now! That will make me very sad. Then I will have to be back home around noon to head to Kirksville.

Christmas times a coming!!

We had a nice weekend...but it went by way to fast. I had a few pictures I wanted to share really quick. I am back from lunch a few minutes early so i thougth i would post them...not much time to type though.

I had seen these pj's at walmart the other day and thought about getting them. However Kyler spotted them and they had Woody from Toy Story and he grabbed them and threw then in the cart. So needless today we purchased them that day! When we got home I didn't say much about them in hopes he forgot about them and I could wrap them up and give them to him. But when it was bed time and i told him we needed put put on his jammies he said..."mommy...Woody jammies?" So he had to put them on. Then he found his woody boots and put them on. I don't really remmeber why he had his hat on but it was a cute picture!!!

We went to OldNavy Saturday also becuase I seen a commercial for their comfy socks for just $1. So I got a few. Kyler took it upon himself to try them on...then wanted me to take his pictures. It was also his idea to stand on his table for the picture to!

Where has my little boy gone. Have I mentioned that he takes showers not...not baths. And he also has to DO IT MYSELF!! I have to put the soap on his wash cloth and then he washes. He does a really good job to! The other night sheldon was doign bath time and just gave him the bar of soap. He was all lathered up!

We had our first Christmas of the season last night at Sheldon's parents house. He loved opening his presents and got some really cool stuff. I think his favorite was his new Toy Story sleeping back. I made him wait till we got hom to take it out and that was the first thing we did when we got home to. He took it out and layed on the floor with it. Then when we went to bed he had to take it with him.

Well we were about snowed in this morning. I don't know how much snow we ended up getting but with the wind we had some pretty high drifts. I think the one behind the garage would have been over Kyler's head! Sheldon didn't have to go to work since campus was closed. I held off a while to see if they could get the roads cleared some more and headed in about 9:30. I drove 35mph all the way and finally got here.

I think Kyler is feeling better. He did have an ear infection so we got some antibiotics. He had a temp yesterday afternoon but was fine all afternoon. Then last night about Midnight i felt him and he felt warm so I got him up and took some more Tylenol. He seems to be doing 100 this morning. He is home with dad today so hard to tell what will go on today?

The other day he pulled this piggy bank in the living room and was trying to set on it... he told me "mommy take my pictures... cheese!!"

I found his Santa hat for a friend at work to use to take some pictures of her little boy... Kyler tried it on last night. It was a little small but how cute is that?

And Have i mentioned that Kyler LOVES to vacuum? He got that little dirt devil for Christmas last year... he won't let it leave his sight. He has to take it to the babysitters and everything!!! These are my boys... I have them trained well!!

Santa baby...

Well I am home today with a sick boy. Well he don't act to sick right now but he is medicated. He has had a runny noes for several days now and I think it has turned into an ear infection. He woke up yesterday morning and was crying saying his ear hurt. I gave him some medicine through out the day yesterday. He told me a few other times that his ear hurt so I figured it was. This morning at 4 am he came in to our bed and climbed in. He felt really warm so I ask if he wanted some medicine. He said no. I figured if he didn't fell good he would have said yes. So for sake of not making him upset and in hopes he would go back go sleep I didn't push it. Well he must have been uncomfortable because he flopped and flopped around and never went back to sleep. He said he was hot so we striped him down to his undies. Finally at 5 am i told him he had to take some medicine. Sheldon then got up with him and went down stairs. He came and crawled in to bed with me again just before 6am. He laid down and fell back to sleep. I called the dr first thing this morning... just like every other mother in town on a Monday morning at 8am. Twice she said she had an appointment at a time then before she could get in to schedule it it was gone!! We did get an appointment at 1:10 so hopefully we can get some antibiotic if it is an ear infection.

We had a big weekend. Friday I got off work at 1 for our Christmas party. It was a blast. We went to KC. We ate at Wild Bills at Legends then went to a comedy club. Then back to Wild Bills. They had a guy who was singing live... he was really good and easy on the eyes if you know what I mean!! Then Saturday morning we had to get up pretty early (8am!!) and head out because Sheldon had to work the basketball games in Maryville. We did hit IHOP before heading out of course!! A big thank you to Aunt Rachel for coming up and staying with Kyler for the evening!!

Then SANTA came to town Saturday night. Our babysitters husband(the kids call him uncle Chester) plays Santa each year. When Kyler seen him he gave him the stare down. He started talking to Kyler and Kyler just started looking around... he ask "where Chester at?" He recognized the voice but I don't think he understood it was coming from Santa. Shewww!!


Here is attempt one of getting close. Mommy had to set on Santa's lap... But Kyler was happy cause he got some candy!

Then we tried to set him on Santa's lap by himself... that didn't work out to well?
But before we left we went back up there... I guess he had time to adjust to him and set there... he wasn't about to talk or look at him though.

Ok... and by they way. I took my batteries out of my camera the other day and forgot to reset the silly date. It was not Jan 6, 2008!!

Ok....now this is not trick photography. Kyler is truly a little monkey. If you put him up on the door way he will hand there like a little monkey. He just happened to look when I took this pictures and i just barely got Sheldon out of the pictures. He was standing right there...i swear!
