Well where does the time go. I really need some new pictures don't I. I have a few I want to post just have not had the time. This weekend was very laid back but fun. Friday night we had to run back to town to get straps to strap the golf cart in the back of the truck so we went out to eat. With a ALMOST 2 year old you don't do that too often. But he was so good. I was so proud of him. He got a little squirmy at the end but was very well behaved. Then we went to Walmart. He was so funny in there. He wanted to walk like a big boy so we let him. I needed some deodorant so we was over by the pharmacy section and he spotted the gold fish!!! He took off running saying fish, fish. Then he just stood there with his nose as close to the glass as it could get with out touching. He was talking to them and pointing and smiling. I was too cute. Guess we need to make room for a fish aquarium... but not just yet. They are a lot of work.
Then Saturday Sheldon went golfing so me and Kyler went to town and got his hair cut. He looks so much like a little man. And gets so much braver with each hair cut he gets. He set up on her little stool like nothing. She draped the cape around him and he never fussed once. He usually pulls it off. She scooted him up to her drawer full of combs and brushes and he just there and played the whole time and never fussed once. He even let her use the clippers like they were no big deal. It was funny. Guess we will have to leave dad at home more often for hair cuts. Then off to HyVee for a few things. I'm a walmart fan all the way and most of the time just because its cheapest.. but after experiencing the police car and fire truck shopping carts there is not other option when I have Kyler with me. He just sets in there and drives the whole time. LOVE IT! But on a side note... i also had to pick up my prescription (birth control pills). They told me they were on back order till May!!! Who has heard of birth control pills being on back order!?!?! What has this economic crises came to? So luckily walmart had some in stock!! Shewww!!
Ok so then on home we went to get a bit to eat and off for a nap. He slept 2 1/2 hours so I got the dishes washed and the house picked up a little. I also made cup cakes... bad idea. They are almost all gone and its just Monday. I also boiled some eggs and get all ready to color Easter eggs. That was a fun. He got up and when he seen all the cups he was very curious. So we did them right way. He seen all the little tablets in the cups and gathered them all up. He also ate one... he would have been pooping green or blue or what ever color for weeks. Then we put the vinegar in and they kind of was fizzing. He thought that was cool. But then it came to putting the egg in the cups... yeah he wanted to help. SO I was kind of holding them and putting them in nice and easy. I thought he had the idea so I gave him one and told him to put it in easy... yeah right! It just so happened to be red and it splashed everywhere. Well my counters are old and white. Who puts in white counters? SO by the time we got done the counter looked like the Easter Bunny threw up on it. But nothing a little soft scrub can't handle.
Well this post is getting really long and that is about the highlight of our weekend. Sunday I had a baby shower and Sheldon took Kyler out to his mom and dad's for dinner. Then when he got home he didn't want to take a nap and was a little fire cracker by the time I got home. I think he had to set on the naughty step 3 times.
Today was a very busy day for me. Work was busy, then I went and walked after work. Got home just in time to eat, clean up, give Kyler a bath and put him to bed. Now I am on here for a bit and will head to bed!!! Wow...the work is never done for a MOM. That being said... I better get. Night Night as Kyler would say.
