We like to Potty Potty!!

Funny Story:
Over the weekend I got the Madagascar 2 soundtrack. We had it playing on the computer last night. Kyler brought the case over to me and pointed to the computer. At first I didn't know what he wanted since it was already playing. But then I realized he wanted to watch the videos. When you put it in your computer you can see the video's to two of the songs. One is the "I like to move it move".. if you have seen any previews to this movie you will know what I man. Anyways I hope most of you know what song I am talking about. There is a part in there where they sing "we like to party party, we like to party part." Well Sheldon and Kyler were setting there watching it and Kyler looks up at Sheldon and says.."potties?" So know when I want him to go potty I will have to sing that song..."we like to potty potty". I can't hardly type this with out laughing. It was so funny.

Quick note

Just wanted to post a quick little note since I got back from lunch with a little time to spare today. Kyler has been so funny the past few days. He is really starting to say more and more words. It seems like every time I tell him to say something he at least tries. Sometime it kind of sound like it and other times it is no where near what I said. I has also started saying No instead of just shaking his head. Everything is blue or two. He did say purple the other night though.

I bought him some of those really think training pants the other day also thinking I would start working a little more on that. He will pee on the potty sometime so I thought maybe he just needed to HAVE to to make him want to. Does that make since? Well that was a flop. When I got home I put a pair on him. He was just running around in his shirt and undies. Well he Peed... on the floor mind you! So we cleaned that up and put on the second pair. The package had three. We were in the bathroom and he said "potties" SO I ask if he wanted to set on the potty. He shook his head and was pointing at the new package of Toilet paper I had just bought that was setting on the floor. I ask him a few more times all with the same response. So I figured he was just saying Pottys because of the toilet paper setting there. Well no.. I finally got him talked in to setting on the potty but by the time I pulled the pants down they were wet! Shucks... so close. So the third and final pair went on. Not much longer he peed in them to? Poor little guy. He looked so sad when we noticed he had peed again. I finally just put a diaper on him and have not tried the undies again yet. Butter lunch next time.

It's me

WOW... its been a while. All is going good, just busy. Where does the time go? Had a good weekend. Friday it was really nice weather so we were going to grill. But I got half way home and forgot the salmon at work that I bough on my lunch. So by the time I went back and then got home it was getting chilly and dark.

Saturday was a nice day. We played outside some. My Dad and step mom Nancy came over. We grilled burger and dogs. YUM!! I can't wait for spring. Saturday night Sheldon and I went out to eat with some friends for one of their birthdays. So Kyler got to hang out with Papa and Grandma. It was nice to have an adult night out. Not that we did anything fancy but still.

So after staying out late Saturday night Sunday was a lazy day. We did nothing all day long. We just played and took a 3 hour nap. Yes, while Kyler took his afternoon nap so did Mom and Dad. I hate taking napes. I always wake up lazy and feel like I wasted the day away. Oh well. So on my lazy day I didn't even pick up any toys. This really drove me crazy but I didn't.
