Pumpkin patch.

Here are just a few of my many pictures i took on our outing to the pumpkin patch. Kyler loved the pumpkins just about as well as I did. We went home with about 12 I think!!! I love pumpkins.
It also wasn't that cool... I had got Kyler that new jacket/vest and he loved it and would not take it off. We had just tried it on before we left so he HAD to wear it.

They had a train built out of old plastic barrals also... Kyler wanted it in untill they started up the 4wheeler that was pulling it. He wouldn't ride in it when it was going only when it was setting still.

Sick boy!

Well we may have a sick little boy on our hands? Friday I got a call from the babysitter that she was cleaning up vomit!! Yuck! Kyler threw up all over the place and had a slight temp (100 degrese). Sheldon took off work and picked him up. All afternoon he said he played just fine. He did give him some tylenol after his nap because he was kind of craby. Then he played all night. I had a scrapbooking party last night so I got home late. We headed to bed around 11:30 and went in to check on his as I always do before I go to bed. He woke up and I felt he was burning up!! Took his temp... 104.2!!! So striped naked and put a wet wash cloth on his head... finaly had to take him down stairs and rubbed some water over his back... got it down to 102.8! Gave him some more Ibprophen in the night and he has been fine all day. Well I have given him some medicne just in case...but so far so good. I hope it was just a one day thing... but that doesn't seem to be the case for what is going around. We will cross our fingers.

I could not resist posting this picture real quick. I don't have time to type out much other then we are all doing good. Nothing new! Work eat, eat, and eat... then sleep. Here is Kyler all dressed up to go to an awesome casual outdoor weddign on Saturday night.

Maybe I will post a little more tonight if I can set aside some time?

A few snap shots

So here I am again begging for forgiveness since I have not posted in a while!!! Well we made it through the long holiday weekend. Not too much going on. I was off work Friday... well was suppose to be but ended up going in to work some Friday morning to get some stuff down and try and help not be so far behind today. That didn't work because I am still behind today!!! So I picked Kyler up after my eye appointment Friday morning and we hung out at home. We found the paydoh...aka Playdoh and finger paint. Now that is all he wants to do.

Then Saturday morning I left the boys to fend for themselves and I headed to KC to do some shopping... more like looking. I seem to find shopping relaxing and fun. I can go to 10 stores and not buy a single thing... just look around. I got to go to some stores I don't usually get to go to because we don't have time. It was fun. I met up with my sister Rachel... i think she thinks I'm a crazy shopaholic!!! She went to a few stores with me then we decided to eat at Olive Garden... YUM-O!! Then she headed back home and I hit a few more stores and did the same. I stayed with in budget and got a few things I really actually needed so I consider it a successful trip.

Then Sunday Sheldon decided to cut e whole in the side of the garage and make it into a door to drive the golf cart into!!! That was fun. Sunday night Sheldon had a poker night planed but another friend of ours invited us over to there house for Pizza. There were several of us with the kidos it was fun. We called it our HAHA party!! What is a HAHA party you ask??? HAHA we don't have to work tomorrow!!!

Monday was just a lazy day around the house... well for me and Kyler. Daddy ran off golfing with his dad and some friend!! He had busy weekend i guess! Kyler and I hung out at home and cleaned house some.

Not much new with K. Oh well except for his sleeping?? Not sleeping but going to sleep. He started Friday night just screaming when I put him in bed. He had NEVER been like that. I always brag at how good he does going to sleep. But starting Friday if I rocked him he was ok... then when I stood up to put him in bed he would start kicking and screaming. I finally just had to let him cry himself to sleep....well I tried really hard to. I would let him cry 5-10 minutes then go check on him and get him calmed down some. Sheldon was not home Friday night so I finally just said come lay down by mommy. He had thrown such a fit I think he wore himself out because I laid him by me in bed and he never moved an inch and was out. Then one day for his name we started watching Alvin and the Chipmunks in our room and he feel asleep so i just left him there. Last night though and tonight I just let him cry it out. I think he will eventually learn that's not helping. I will keep you posted on that.

Great Weekend

We have had a really good weekend... but you know what tomorrow is??? MONDAY!!!

Saturday morning Sheldon had some Freshman Seminar stuff today at work... he teaching Freshman Seminar this semester if I have not mentioned that before. So Kyler and I decided to run to St Joe to do some quick shopping. I really wanted to get to Once Upon A Child to see if they have there Halloween costumes out yet. I got his costume there last year(turtle) and he wanted to be a frog this year so I figured they might have one... and they did!!! It is so cute. It was from Old Navy and is made out of fleece. It should be warm if it is cold out... which it usually is. He loved it!! I am still working on getting a picture of him in it. He was such a good boy all day shopping. I told him if he was good we would go to the store and ride the horsey!! St Joe mall has a carousel now and so we did. He was kind of scared at first but after he realized I was riding to he was ok... but then it got going really fast!! I was kind of scared!! He clung on to my arm for a while but ended up wanting to ride it again when it was done.

Yesterday evening we went to a friends house and had a little weeny roast. Perfect weather for that let me tell ya. The kids all had fun playing outside and on the swing set. It was very laid back and relaxing.

Today had been a day full of cleaning and cooking so far. Sheldon had to run up to his mom and dad's to help with some remodeling of there bathroom and he took Kyler with him. I got a lot of deep cleaning done but actually barley put a dent in what I need to get done around here! Why is it while I am cleaning I always think... this would be so much easier if I would just do a little each night or even a little each weekend... but no, I let it pile up until it take two weeks to get cough back up!!! Oh well... someday I will learn. I have Friday off this week and of course Monday... so I hope to get some more knocked out then. You know that dreaded scrubbing the toilet and shower, sweeping and moping, filing bills, and I really want to clean out some closets, cabinets,and dressers to.. WOW what a list huh?

Well Kyler is taking a nap now and Sheldon is doing more Freshman Seminar stuff so I have figured the check book and paid some bills.. now I need to change out the laundry and fold some clothes so I better get. Hope to post some pictures this week.... add that to my list of stuff to do!!!

Roastem'

So I have been so busy at work I have had several late nights. By the time I get home and do the Mom and Wife thing I don't have time to do the blogger thing!! But tonight...after another late night at the office...well not to late. I got off work about 6 tonight. I headed home and Sheldon told me we were going to roast wienies. He found an old bar B Q lid to make a camp fire. Kyler didn't know what to think of it. He just watched as Sheldon tried and tried to get the fire going. Then by the time the fire was ready he was board with it and had went on about his business. He enjoyed eating the "dot dog" though. He thought it was pretty cool having it on the bun. He took a big bite out of the middle and said sandwich. Then came the marshmallows. He was not sure about them at first. He couldn't wait to roast one so he had to eat one a head of time. Then my little clean freak was a little worried about the sticky on his hands. But he quickly got over that and ate it.

Well that is about all of our evening. We had so much fun we are thinking about having a family camp out in the back yard this weekend. I don't know how well it will go. We will try the whole camping thing in the back yard first... close to home if you know what I mean. We may have to venture back inside to go to sleep. Not sure? But I know Kyler will love the tent... but will he sleep in it? That is the question?

So its been along time again... OMG what the heck... its the blue and under line thing again!!!

Maybe that mean I need to update this more often??? So here are some pictures we took last month on a trip to campus to play at there play ground. We went over to the pond to check out the fish. They were out of fish food so we had to look for some worms.

Kyler has just been being his normal ornery self. My babysitter just text me that he peed on her bay window this morning!!! On the inside!!! Just pulled his pants down and peed! Little turd! I'm sure there are lots of other stories I could tell on him but I can't think of any others right now?

Well I am just on my lunch and got back a little early and thought I would put a post on here. So Better get back to work.
